Compliance is often a challenge when there are so many polices an agency must adhere to. Our service offers RN's to do Medical C-file Auditing. This is a detailed audit that includes updating polices if needed, DPH required annual health screenings checklist, checking MAR's protocols, and HCP orders. This can be done in office or on site. On site audits generally take a day, and the MAP audit tool is followed per MAP policy. After the audit is complete, the assessments are sent to the agency with recommendations. This helps agencies prepare for state audits to ensure that they are in compliance.

Protocol/ Policy Writting
Protocol and policy writing can be challenging, but with a skilled RN who has knowledge of MAP, creating policy or protocols can ease the workload of staff. Protocols for diabetes, g-tubes, colostomy care, medication protocols, TMMS policies, are a few examples that can be easily tailored to the needs of the participants and staff. Communication with other healthcare providers may be key to creating successful policy implementation.
