Rachel is a graduate of Greenfield Community College and Westfield State University with a Bachelors degree in Nursing. and Associates Degree in Health Science.  Her background includes 9 years of beside nursing experience in Labor and Delivery, as well as 6 years experience working for Health and Human Service Agencies in Massachusetts.  She is a BLS/CPR instructor and an expert MAP trainer.  ( Medication Administration Program). She has served as a Nurse for agencies across Massachusetts, managing care of Individuals with Disabilities and complex mental health diagnosis.  Her skills include MAP compliance, MAP program management, medical file auditing, leadership and educational development focused on healthcare training.

Oscar holds Masters of Education with a major in Educational Administration and Student Affairs Administration from the University Of Nebraska. He holds a Bachelors degree in Psychology from Grand Valley State University.

Oscar R. Collins is a dynamic facilitator, executive coach, and organizational
development leader with more than 20 years of experience advancing equity-centered leadership, workforce development, and organizational effectiveness across nonprofit, higher education, and consulting environments.

 

As Director of Learning and  Development at the Mental Health Association in Springfield, Massachusetts, Oscar leads organization-wide training initiatives that strengthen professional growth, compliance, and trauma-informed practices for a diverse workforce serving vulnerable populations.


Oscar’s work bridges social justice education with practical leadership strategies. He equips leaders and teams with tools to navigate complexity, address bias, build inclusive cultures, and lead with emotional intelligence and accountability. His experience includes executive coaching, consulting, and designing impactful learning programs on identity development, intergroup dialogue, and organizational culture.

 

With a background in higher education leadership at institutions such as the University of Massachusetts Amherst, Oscar has led student success initiatives, facilitated intergroup dialogue, and developed programs supporting underrepresented communities.

 

A sought-after speaker and national presenter, Oscar is known for his engaging, reflective, and solutions-focused approach—creating learning environments that inspire growth, challenge assumptions, and drive meaning.
